Attic Windows

This is a great block to show off novelty fabrics. A novelty fabric is one where the motif is humorous, or has a theme to it. Theme fabrics might include sewing notions, dolls, trains etc..  Attic Windows make a adorable baby quilts. For templates for a 6" Attic windows click here.  For templates for a 9" block click here.   The files are PDF files, for ease in printing.  However, you must have Adobe Reader installed to view and print. The main Free Patterns Page has a link to the Adobe Systems Site.

Kimberly Bobrow   sent us a link to her site.  She has a great tutorial on Attic Windows.  And be sure to see our Attic Windows tip on the main Free Patterns Page, as well.

If you have made a Attic Windows Quilt that you would like to share with others please let us know, we would love to show it. It helps others to how you have interpreted the design.

We can not provide you with instructions or fabric requirements for this or any other quilt as that is beyond the scope of the site.  If you would like that information the Quilt Pro software program is available for purchase on this site and was used to create these blocks. If you purchase the program from Compuquilt, I can provide you with the quilt project files for this quilt.

These instructions, images, templates, etc...are copyrighted 1997-2000 by CompuQuilt and are meant for your own personal use.  If you'd like others to have these patterns and instructions, please send them a link to CompuQuilt.  All other use requires permission before such use.
