Liz says of her quilt:

The quilt is queen size, all hand pieced, machine quilted. This is the first (and probably last) quilt I ever made for money. It was for the son of a friend. This young man had four major celebrations, any of which was reason enough for having a quilt made for him: he graduated Summa Cum Laude, got the job of his dreams, sold his software company for a huge profit, and became engaged to his sweetheart! And his mom and I are still friends, although arriving at a fair price was not much fun for either of us. It took me about 9 months to make. Having babies is easier than this project was.
