Storm at Sea and
Diamond in a Square

Storm at Sea

Elaine says of her quilt "Storm at Sea is one of my favorite patterns. It is made up of 443 straight pieces but has lots of movement. Using the blue with gold print on black gives it a very contemporary look."

One of the oldest and simplest patterns, dating back to the 1800s, this traditional Amish design gives the quilter a wonderful opportunity to display fine hand quilting.
