Frank tells us this was his first attempt at appliqué and wouldn't
you know it the quilt won a second place for appliqué at the Sea Island Quilters, 1997
Southern Comfort Quilt Show. Frank says "I designed and appliquéd and my wife Ginger
put on borders and quilted it. Just to keep me humble Ginger won first place
appliqué." Congratulations Frank. The design below was Franks design made with Quilt Pro quilt design software. Under that is the actual quilt.
