Wedding Quilt: I read an article in a quilting magazine about Seminole quilt patterns, and decided to try it for myself. I made this quilt for my mother's wedding last year. I used 5 strips of Seminole patterns, four of them my own design, of blooming flowers, climbing vines, and interlocking wedding rings. The colors are yellow, green, blue, rose pink, and white and I used fabrics with the same pattern in different colors. Machine pieced, and quilted with the stitch-in-the-ditch method. I found Seminole quilting to be easy and creative.
Bowtie Quilt: The red, white, and black quilt is the "bow tie" pattern with a lattice. It was sent off as a gift for my son's godfather and his family.
